Long COVID

In-Person in Saskatoon and Area or Online Anywhere

Long COVID symptoms are often unpredictable, hard to explain, and frustrating to navigate — especially when tests come back normal and you still don't feel like yourself. We take these symptoms seriously and work with the body as able and the nervous system as a central part of the picture. Available in person in Saskatoon and virtually across Canada.

Why Long COVID Is So Difficult to Navigate

One of the hardest parts of Long COVID isn't just the symptoms themselves — it's the uncertainty. Fatigue that doesn't respond to rest. Brain fog that comes and goes. Pain that moves. A body that crashes after what should have been a manageable day. And often, no clear explanation from imaging or standard bloodwork.

That doesn't mean nothing is wrong. In fact, there's often very significant physical changes that standard tests don't pick up. But, what it often means is that the part of the picture getting missed is the nervous system. COVID-19 can disrupt how the nervous system functions — affecting how the brain processes signals from the body, how the autonomic system regulates energy and recovery, and how the body responds to even mild exertion. These are real physiological changes. And they're also workable ones.

A Careful, Paced Approach

With Long COVID — and especially with post-exertional malaise — pushing harder is not the answer. One of the most important things we can do early on is understand your current capacity and work within it, not past it. Pacing isn't giving up. It's a strategy that protects the nervous system from the boom-and-bust cycles that keep many people stuck.

From there, we work on nervous system regulation — helping your system feel safe enough to start recovering. That might include breathwork, biofeedback, gentle movement, education, or coaching, depending on what your system is ready for. There is no universal script here. What we do depends on you.

What to Expect

Working with Long COVID takes patience — from both of us. Progress isn't usually linear. There will be good stretches and harder ones, and both are part of the process. What I can offer is a space where your symptoms are taken seriously, where the approach is grounded in current evidence, and where the plan adapts as you do.

Sessions are available in person in Saskatoon and virtually for clients anywhere in Canada. If you're not sure whether what you're experiencing fits, the free 15-minute consultation is a good place to find out — no pressure, just an honest conversation.

Not Sure Where to Start

The free 15-minute consultation is exactly what it sounds like — a no-pressure conversation. You share what's going on, I share how I work, and we figure out together whether it's a good fit.
If it's not, I'll tell you that honestly — and I'll do my best to point you somewhere that is.
